Real Manasota Key Weddings: A Celebration Fit for a Mermaid!

This wedding was incredibly special for our Magnolias on the Bay family because the bride and groom and the bride’s family are huge fans of our restaurant! So much so that they booked their wedding with us back in 2023! The original wedding date was set for October 2024.

As many of our local friends know, our island was hit by TWO back to back hurricanes in October of 2024 that left our island in a wake of massive water and sand damage.

Our venue was hit very hard and we knew we would be under construction for a solid amount of time. This family stood by us and waited! There was no other venue the bride wanted so she decided to hang tight and let us get through our construction circus and  they rescheduled for March 2026! We knew we wanted every little detail to be pure perfection for this family because their loyalty to us meant the world! After 518 days Kaley & Nick got to have the wedding of their dreams!

Our friend Ana at Venetian Flowers and Rent The Event Tampa Bay brought in some amazing pieces! Coastal chandeliers in the tent created such an elegant ambiance and who could forget that natural wood serpentine table for the bridal party! Just a wow piece!

Our buddy Trevor with Reel Time Films captured the day with an incredible drone fly over and video they’ll cherish forever and Tara Tomlinson Photography captured all the day’s details beautifully. We couldn’t have wished for better weather for this couple as they truly deserved the BEST and their guests all showed up to party the night away!
