Lock ‘N Key Returns to ABC7’s Suncoast View with a Thanksgiving Feast

Kitchen Manager and Chef Ashley Esposito, along with Executive Chef Stevie Cazares brought a taste of Lock ‘N Key Restaurant to the ABC7 Suncoast View studio last week. They shared their beloved Thanksgiving classics and some dishes from the restaurant’s popular weekly specials menu.

Ashley kicked off the segment by unveiling Lock ‘N Key’s traditional Thanksgiving Day spread: roasted turkey with mashed potatoes and all the fixings. Guests can also opt for ham paired with mashed sweet potatoes. Every dish is made in-house with the team’s signature attention to detail.

Lock ‘N Key will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, with reservations available for in-house dining. Their extended hours make it easy for those who may be working or arriving from out of town to enjoy a holiday feast that fits their schedule. Reservations are limited, so early booking is encouraged!

For those who prefer celebrating at home, Lock ‘N Key also offers Family-Style Meals for two or four, available for pickup on Thanksgiving morning. It’s a stress-free way to enjoy a holiday meal without lifting a finger.

One host praised the offering, saying, “I love that you’re doing a family meal for two, because it’s so hard to find.” Ashley agreed, noting that otherwise, “you have to cook a whole turkey for just you and your loved one and just have leftovers for weeks.”

While the hosts admired the Thanksgiving spread, the aroma of sautéed garlic and spinach filled the studio as Chef Stevie prepared a Truffle Butter Cream Lobster Ravioli, one of Lock ‘N Key’s weekly specials. Ashley went on to describe the Weekly Specials menu, which features five entrées and two lunch specials. Examples of specials she creates include Halibut with sage butter, and Lamb Chops with mint chimichurri. “The creativity is outstanding,” remarked one host.

For dessert, Ashley highlighted the restaurant’s irresistible Apple Crisp, made in-house by pastry chef Gloria.

Lock ‘N Key is also known for its popular daily Happy Hour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., featuring their signature pull tabs. Guests pull a tab to reveal a drink deal: $0.50, half-price, or full price. “We have the happiest hour on Manasota Key!” Ashley said with a smile.

As the segment wrapped, Chef Stevie served the hosts steaming plates of Lobster Ravioli: generous portions of lobster in silky butter cream sauce, served over ravioli filled with lobster and cheese. The hosts’ reactions said it all: “The sauce is everything.” “So much lobster.”
